Was best man at a wedding at the weekend and I just want to say congratulations to Mark and Sarah. It was a great do. But from a camera point of view, it was fun watching the pro's doing their stuff. Looking forward to seeing their shots that come back, but boy do they have to work hard to keep up all in line. But they were good fun, a fair bit of Digital vs Film banter was flying around.

Back from Holidays

Well I've been off on my summer holidays for the last few weeks. In spain with some friends for a week and then off up to the beautiful yorkshire coast for a week. Was wonderful and relaxing, unfortunately from a photography point of view, not hugely inspiring. I guess therein lies the challenge. I did get a couple of nice images, and these are now up on the site. Please feel free to give me any feedback you have on them.
I did try and get up for dawn on a couple of days, obviously the best time for me and the camera to be out and about, but the weather decided not to play ball with me. So went back to my nice warm bed!!!
The weather this week is pretty pants, so doubt I'll get out and about much this week, but hoping for a change next week and hopefully I'll have more to report then.

Welcome

It’s been a little while since I got this site live and it’s really about time I started updating this part a little more regularly. But first I want to thank Lance for finishing the site for me.
Over the last few weeks I’ve been lucky to have some nice weather, so managed to get out and about with the camera. The results of these wanderings can be seen here.
First of all I had a fantastic little trip down to Hastings, I never knew that on Hastings beach you can find the UK’s largest beach launched fishing fleet. I also went for a little wander up to London on a lovely evening. Sometimes I do feel that people who live in London do forget what a beautiful city London is on a summer evening. So please have a look in the London gallery and see if you agree with me.
One thing that often surprises me when I go for a little wander is that I can leave a location feeling down and convinced that I failed to take advantage of a beautiful day and wonderful location, yet a few days later the images finally come through and before you know it you have a couple you like. Maybe it’s just me.
